Armanino LLPs Valuation Practice assists start-ups, private and public companies, as well as venture capital firms with business valuation services.  Armaninos valuation team has a track record of delivering industry leading expertise and value to clients, across a wide range of industries and valuation assignments.  We are looking to add to our dynamic team in the one of the following locations:  Bay Area, Los Angeles, or Irvine (California), Dallas or Austin (Texas), Seattle, Washington, or Denver, Colorado.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

As a Manager, you will be an integral part of a rapidly growing practice within the Armanino consulting department.

We are a close-knit team that works with private and public companies, across the technology, professional services, and life science industries amongst others.

You will manage client engagements related to valuations, review the work of team members, and engage in face-to-face discussions with our clients CFOs, CEOs, and other senior management about their business.

 

Qualifications:
Experience in modeling, managing, and delivering a variety of types of complex valuation analysis with a focus on the following: ASC 805
– Business Combinations (Purchase Price Allocations) for large private and public companies including intangible asset valuation and earnouts; Experience related to complex securities valuations including embedded derivatives, warrants, SAFE notes, convertible securities, and preferred tranche liabilities; Experience modeling and conducting Monte Carlo simulation analysis, Lattice models and Black-Scholes Option Pricing analysis as they relate to complex securities and earnout valuations; Experience related to SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies) would be a plus SAS 73 reviews of third-party appraisals for audit support purposes of SEC or soon to be SEC registrants; An interest in developing and retaining strong client relationships and expanding the services that we provide to our clients; An ability to manage multiple projects at a time, and coordinate appropriate staff; A commitment to continual skills development as industry standards advance and change; Ensure quality control standards are met; Supervise and mentor staff; provide timely and effective performance feedback and training; Contribute to team environment and a positive culture.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelors degree, preferably in business or accounting, MBA a plus; Minimum of 7 years of valuation experience within a business valuation firm or valuation practice of an accounting or consulting firm; Prior experience effectively resolving external review issues (auditors, IRS, etc.); Strong client communication skills; Good report writing skills, financial modeling skills, the ability to work well in a team environment; Relevant valuation designation(s); Ability to develop external relationships (networking, referral sources, etc.) and the desire and ability to bring new clients into the business; Strong client management, consulting, communication, and leadership skills managing expectations and delivering high quality solutions on-time within scope and budget; Detail oriented, flexible, and responsive;
