Unified Communications & Collaboration Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in search of a Unified Communications & Collaboration Engineer in Herndon, VA.

Summary: This position requires a motivated, highly experienced Unified Communications (UC) Customer Delivery Consulting Engineer to support a large, highly visible strategic federal program aligned to aggressive transformational agendas.

You will have strong technical leadership and ability to translate business/mission requirements into technical solutions are key skills for success.

As a UC&C Customer Delivery Consulting Engineer who specializes in unified communications products and solutions, you will support an important federal customer through the development of complex designs, implementation and support of leading edge technologies, and delivery of optimization services to one of our most strategically important customers in the United States.

You must have the ability to travel to customer sites and work onsite 3-4 days per week.

Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Must have an excellent understanding in: Cisco Unified Communications Manager, CUBE UC Applications: Unity Connection (CUC), Presence (IM&P) Call control protocols and Voice Gateways (SIP, H.323, MGCP, SCCP) Cisco Telepresence (VCS, TMS, CMS, Video Endpoints) UCCE/WxCC knowledge and experience with HCS infrastructure would be a plus Experience in collaboration solutions (IM/Jabber/WebEx) CCNP certified or CCIE level experience with Cisco Enterprise network routing and switching platforms Subject matter expert in routing protocols and enterprise networking concepts and design Ability to lead, articulate a vision, influence, and guide teams in dynamic strategic environments through design, deployment, analysis and troubleshooting of complex networks Capability to anticipate issues, evaluate risks, and proactively collaborate and lead resolution Significant experience with end-to-end architecture/design work across multiple technology areas, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems Strong communication, consulting and customer relationship building skills with ability to work autonomously and thrive in a transformational environment CCNP certified preferred, CCIE level experience with Cisco Enterprise UC platforms Ability to articulate a vision, influence, and guide teams in dynamic strategic environments through design, deployment, analysis and troubleshooting of complex UC&C systems Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
