– Friday Position Description:
• Prepare Individual Federal and State Form 1040 Tax Returns
• Possible preparation of Form 709 gift tax returns
• Organize and document tax work papers
• Work in a paperless environment
• Importing essential tax data using SurePrep
• Expected 40 hours per week
• Time schedule may be somewhat flexible with the approval of the manager Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• At least four years of Individual 1040 Income Tax preparation experience
• Must have a current PTIN
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail needed
• Strong time management skills needed
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills needed
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
• EA or CPA is a plus
• Multi-state tax experience a plus
• Alternative Investment experience a plus
• Proficiency in Go-Systems Individual 1040 tax software is a plus Microsoft Office, Go-Systems, SurePrep Why work for Adecco?
