We are currently searching for a Staff Accountant II for an amazing long term contract assignment with one of the top entertainment media companies.

Based in West Los Angeles, the Staff Accountant II will support our client’s awesome accounting team with strong multi-tasking and creative problem solving skills!

As a Staff Accountant II your duties will include:
Preparation of journal entries
Supporting work paper reconciliations for key balance sheet and expense accounts
Facilitating process improvements with key internal systems and processes
Providing support for the annual financial statement audit, periodic internal audits and tax request
Understanding and maintaining third-party billing relationships
Troubleshooting systemic accounting issues and proposing solutions to management, escalating when necessary
You are the perfect person if you have:
2+ years of accounting experience previous work experience with a Big Four public accounting firm preferred
Bachelor’s degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting from an accredited college or university required
Technical knowledge of Microsoft business suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Detailed-oriented with a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills
Team collaborator with a positive attitude
Workday knowledge preferred
The Staff Accountant II is a long term temporary contract assignment with competitive pay.
