Enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Discipline DescriptionEstablish and contribute to the creation of manufacturing control activities.

Standardize key processes across manufacturing locations for example inventory adjustments, excess and obsolete, to aid and improve operational performance.

Collaborate with the Finance Operations team to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Corporate policies with a clear focus on Manufacturing Accounting activities.

Manufacturing Accounting activities include, but are not limited to, the review and execution of inventory accounting and valuation, consignment inventory management, return materials authorization controls, 3PL contract review, logistics accounting, freight accounting, and other operations accounting items.

Work closely with manufacturing facilities to meet timely completion of SOX activities and submission of deliverables.

Engage and support Fire and Security projects and initiatives along with the centralization of key reserve calculations.

Manages inventory to ensure correct financial reporting and engages in complex accounting activities to provide technical guidance and correct reporting requirements.Responsibility StatementsSupports accounting and controls activities for designated manufacturing locations and any supporting distribution activitiesEnsure accurate and timely support of financial results, the closing of financial statements, and compliance activitiesConfirm procedures and controls are in alignment with US GAPP reporting requirements and Corporate policiesReviews results with Operations Finance/Plant Leadership provides analysis of balance sheet impacts for decisioningEngages in key complex accounting situations to provide key input and guidanceQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field with at least 5 years of experience in Operations and ManufacturingMBA, CPA/CMA (preferred, but not required)Advanced excel and presentation skillsExcellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.Proactive and self-initiating work style, requiring minimum oversightAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries to reach consensusAbility to solve challenging and often complex financial/accounting-related issuesAbility to adapt quickly to changing business environmentCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
