Sr. Financial Analyst, Chubb Life

The continued profitable expansion of the company’s Life insurance business through both organic and inorganic growth is a top strategic priority for the corporation.This role is on the Chubb Life Financial Planning & Analysis team and varies in responsibilities including work related to the annual plan, 5 year strategic plan, monthly management reporting, rating agency reports and various executive management presentations, and special projects including process improvement.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with the consolidation and analysis of the 5 year strategic plan and annual plan, which includes reviewing and challenging the information received from the countries, understanding key trends by country, consolidating the data and preparation of the presentation to be used for Senior Management Create monthly management reports for executive management, including review and challenge of country level submissions Prepare key Corporate submissions and supporting analyticsPartner closely with foreign subsidiaries to drive deeper analytics and support business growthDrive enhancements to monthly/quarterly Senior Management reporting including more robust analytics and data visualizationPrepare key management presentations and supporting schedules including various rating agencies Support projects that will improve departmental efficiency and performancePrepare ad hoc reporting requests Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or analytics5years of accounting or financial reporting or FP experienceCFA or CPA designation preferred Insurance experience, preferably experience working with a Life or A carrierStrong analytical skills with an attention to detail and an ability to perform complex analysesMastery of end user applications (e.g.
