John Tillman enjoys the reputation of offering the industry’s highest quality products in the welding protection category and like our tagline says, Tillman is ” THE BRAND PROS DEMAND” .Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting, discuss results internally with management, use financial analysis to make recommendationsCalculate metrics and KPIs, and introduce additional metrics to assist management in decision making and support continued growthMonitor and review monthly sales & margin reporting by major customer accounts and product linesDevelop financial models to support management decision-making related to gross margin analysis, new opportunities, capital investments, and revenue models; make recommendations regarding sameAssist Controller and General Manager in the development of the annual budget, create and maintain detailed budgeting templates, and analyze actual and budgeted figures on an ongoing basisPrepare updates to current year forecast periodically, advise of variances to actual, and research accounts to determine basis for forecast adjustmentsPrepare flash reporting and narrative for monthly and quarterly results, identify areas of opportunityProvide information and assistance to management regarding expenditures, purchases and other costs of doing businessCalculate commissions and rebates based on baseline metrics and contractsPerform ad hoc analysis and forecasts for internal management team and external reportingPrepare half-year and year-end schedules and reporting for corporate officeMonth-end close responsibilities as neededRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required7+ years of experience in an analytical or financial roleAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and Power PointSage and Hyperion Reporting Software experience a plus, ability to learn new systems quicklyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEnergized by a fast-paced environment; able to meet tight timetables and change priorities as requiredProject team leader and/or supervisory experience preferredAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamProven record of process improvement, highly organized and detail orientedAble to work additional hours as neededMust be high energy and self-motivatedSo, what are you waiting for?
