They are seeking a Senior Accountant who will perform a variety of accounting activities as part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and recording of journal entries
Assisting in analyzing and reconciling Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts
Financial statement and account analysis for monthly, quarterly and annual closes
Preparation of adjusting journal entries
Assistance in SOX package preparation
Assist in preparation of variance analyses for quarterly reviews and year-end audit
Bank Reconciliations
Assist with special projects and miscellaneous inquiries
Qualifications:
College degree is required
3-5 years work experience in the accounting space
Strong analytical skills
Ability to handle questions and problems in a timely manner
Demonstrate proficiency in PC based financial computer applications such as Excel & G/L software
Effective written and oral communication skills
