We are looking for a senior financial analyst at Firefighters First Credit Union (FFCU) to run the Asset/ Liability Management (ALM) model, forecasts future financial performance, and measures various financial risks including interest rate and liquidity.
The senior financial analyst also provides strategic and tactical recommendations to management to maximize financial performance.
Typical Responsibilities:
Maintain, operate, and report results of FFCUs ALM model to develop financial projections.
Maintains and validates advanced financial ALM modeling to include reviewing appropriate assumptions based on current economic conditions and keeps track of changes that impact results.
Utilize model to develop projections of Net Income, Liquidity and balance sheet valuations under various interest rates, strategic and economic scenarios.
Assist with developing FFCUs strategic and tactical financial plans.
In partnership with the management team, develop FFCUs strategic and tactical financial plans.
Develop, interpret, and implement highly complex financial accounting concepts and advanced techniques for financial planning and control.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, tabular summaries and graphs.
Maintain data sets and produce reports from internal financial databases.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Experience performing financial analysis.
Experience performing financial research to make business recommendations (i.e., budgetary controls, acquisition activity, etc.).
