Keurig Dr. Pepper is looking for a hands-on experienced Finance professional for its DSD Finance operation. This position requires a financial leader, who will partner with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Sales and Operations Leadership to provide decision support, drive cost and process improvements, and support our vision to “Be the Best Beverage Business in the Americas”.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key resource in reporting and providing critical analyses of Keurig’s financial performance for finance and executive leadership. As part of the West Business Unit team, you will collaborate with the business leaders, and finance teams across the organization to help analyze and communicate key drivers of the company’s financial results, as well as provide inputs to executive management packages and scorecards. This role requires an understanding of corporate finance, a keen interest in learning about the business, a strong analytical mindset and the ability to contribute to the process of making sound business decisions. You need a solid working knowledge of the income statement, cash flow statement and the balance sheet and how business decisions impact each one.

What you will do:

Provide financial guidance on actual results, operational processes, and financial planning
Evaluate opportunities for process improvement and standardization of key financial metrics for development of financial scorecards and dashboards
Support monthly management financial insights to Executive and Finance Leadership through advanced analysis and critical thinking
Identify spend patterns versus historical norms, forecasted plans, and competitive benchmarks and recommend opportunities
Collaborate with business, finance and accounting teams to help analyze, align and report the key business drivers
Evaluate current and historical financial trends, and utilize various analysis techniques in order to gauge forecast and annual operating plan reasonableness
Make recommendations to management based on in-depth knowledge of the analytics and financial acumen
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling
Promote and communicate key elements of the various financial milestones across the organization
Maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization
Interact with sales and operations teams to ensure spend accuracy and identify variances from Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Provide meaningful insight and recommendations to business partners and Region leadership
Identify opportunities to improve productivity and processes to meet or exceed AOP
Bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude to your responsibilities every day

Decision Support:

Understand nuances of operations and collaborate with key partners to improve business results
Prepare & distribute relevant reports with analysis and recommended action to address negative outliers
Analyze top line growth and high impact Opex expenses to assist with actions to drive profit

Budget/Forecasting/Action Planning:

Perform budgeting and forecasting activities
Support monthly financial close process in regard to reviewing financial results and recommending necessary adjustments.
Assist with weekly/monthly projections as needed and present in real time actionable format
Provide financial analysis and support for DSD Finance; develop and publish mission critical performance reports, and track financial performance against metrics and goals

Administrative Activities/Career Development:

Requirements:

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
Financial acumen, experience with problem solving with analytical thinking
SAP, PowerPoint, Access experience preferred, advanced Excel skills required (e.g., Pivot Tables, V&H Lookups, Ifs, Sum ifs, Index, Match; VBA experience a plus)
BI experience a plus (TM1, MicroStrategy, etc.)
