Senior Accountant Multi-Family Developer

Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a multi-family real estate investment firm in West Los Angeles looking for a Sr.

Accountant to join their growing team.

The group specializes in multi-family ground up development which is funded by private/public investors.

This role will be quintessential to the business and ultimately have long term growth.Responsibilities include:Must be familiar accounts payable, invoice entry, and payments via echeck, wire, and ACHReconciliation
– Bank Accounts, Credit Card Transactions, and G/L AccountsMonthly expense and revenue accrualsMonth End Close
– Assist in completion of monthly financialsWorking with our ERP system to performing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statementUpdate the monthly internal reporting package for key metrics used by the business.Support special “one-off” projects on an ad-hoc basis.Support the requests made by tax and financial auditorsAnalyze financial reports, balance sheet and cash flow statementsPerform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliationsMust have intermediate to advanced excel skills
– ability to format, design and use excel spreadsheets.

Pivot tables a plusAnd more tasks to be discoveredRequirements:Real Estate experience in a multi-family or other related Real Estate industryWillingness to wear multiple hats in an entrepreneurial business settingStrong organizational skills and attention to detail are a mustMust have positive attitude, compatible personality, and work cooperatively with other team membersBachelor’s Degree in AccountingCPA is a plusYardi is a bonusPreferred:4-year college degree3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a public, private or start-up company.1-2 years of GL Accounting Experience with knowledge in preparing journal entries and performing month-end procedures.Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.Experience in operating systems including Microsoft DynamicsA proactive person who can multitask, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environmentA detail-oriented individual who has a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook andExperience working for a startup or small company a plusStrong organizational skills with excellent attention to detailSalary Range: $75,000
