Job SummarySenior AccountantResponsibilitiesOversee completeness and accuracy of all financial reporting, journal entries and account reconciliations for the month end closeIn connection with month closing, ensure accuracy of foreign currency adjustments, elimination entries, and expense allocations as appropriate.Actively contribute to the development and research of global accounting policies to ensure accurate financial reporting.Actively participate in year-end audits and quarterly reviews, including preparation of audit support schedules and related requests.Actively adhere to written policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure SOX 404 compliance.Serve in a key supporting role with respect to the internal (e.g., Month Financial Package) and external (e.g., Form 10-K and Form 10-Q’s) reporting processes.Develop new processes and procedures to streamline the current monthly close process.Sponsorship Revenue Recognition and analysisLicensing and Distribution Revenue Recognition and analysisBalance Sheet Consolidation and Management ReportingCash Flow ReportingRequirementsBS degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA and/or Big 4 experience is a plus.Strong understanding of US GAAPExperience with corporate accounting including: month end close, financial reporting, balance sheet analysis and technical researchBudget/forecasting and variance analysis experienceStrong attention to detailJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Accounting: 3 years (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Location:Los Angeles, CA (Preferred)
