Ultimately, the Controller’s responsibilities are to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded for our clients in a timely and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate has advanced to expert level accounting knowledge and prior work experience where they were responsible for managing a team of Accountants and Bookkeepers who performed monthly bookkeeping services for 10-15 clients simultaneously.
While a management position, this position also requires that you are able to roll up your sleeves and do the work when needed.
The ideal candidate has prior experience servicing multiple clients, across a wide range of industries through on boarding, monthly bookkeeping, payroll processing and month end close.
The ideal candidate is also very tech savvy
– this position requires the use of various software programs, integrations and syncs that often require setup and/or trouble shooting.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting
Advanced to Expert level experience with Quickbooks, Xero and/or Netsuite
5+ years experience in full cycle accounting
Prior experience working with multiple clients
