Later this year, Spyglass’ revival of ” Hellraiser” will debut on Hulu.< Br><Br> <B>Job Summary:< /b><Br> The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of a collaborative team, reporting directly to the Controller, and will be responsible for several day-to-day functions of the accounting department.< Br><Br> <B>Duties and Responsibilities:< /b><Br> Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned by management.< Br><Br> <Ul><Li> Support quarterly and year-end close process through the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned areas< /li><Li> Support the preparation of the annual financial statements in conjunction with the annual financial statement audit< /li><Li> Serve as point-of-contact for the accounts receivable function for all customer inquiries; prepare, distribute, and track customer invoices; review contracts with customers to ensure timely billing and payment; assist with operations for credit, collections, and cash applications as needed; own and maintain masterbilling schedule< /li><Li> Track and report on content spend; provide project-level reporting; manage content roll forward schedules; calculate and process payment for WGA P&H contributions as well as quarterly accrual analysis< /li><Li> Prepare allocations and chargebacks to other business units and productions< /li><Li> Maintain updated accounts payable and due to/from affiliate balances for intercompany transactions< /li><Li> Oversee the accounts’ payable function and cash reconciliation process, including reviewing the work of the accounting staff responsible for accounts payable and credit card reconciliation< /li><Li> Lead annual 1099 and 1042 reporting and filing with the IRS< /li><Li> Continuous review of current systems and processes for opportunities for simplification, automation, and improvement; support process improvement initiatives< /li><Li> Prepare and support internal management reporting, including financial statement analysis< /li></ul> <B>Education and Experience:< /b><Br> <Ul><Li> Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance Required< /li><Li> CPA preferred</li> <Li>3+ years of total work experience, including 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred< /li><Li> Solid understanding of GAAP and finance principles< /li><Li> Proficient in accountingsoftware, preferably with SAGE Intacct< /li><Li> Proficient with G-Suite,PowerPoint, and particularly Excel< /li></ul> <B>Skills and Abilities:< /b><Br> <Ul><Li> Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening< /li><Li> High attention to detail< /li><Li> Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task< /li><Li> Previous experience in the entertainment industry is preferred, but not required< /li><Li> Must be comfortable working both independently and in a team environment< /li><Li> Must be able to think holistically; enjoy solving problems and helping partners; be a collaborative teamplayer with strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn; be able to adapt and grow with the organization as the business develops< /li></ul> <B>Compensation and Benefits:< /b><Br> <Ul><Li> 401(k)</li>< Li>Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage< /li><Li> Company Paid Life Insurance< /li><Li> Salary commensurate experience.< /li><Li> Paid time off</li> </ul>Please submit your resume via the ‘Apply now’ button!< Br><Br> We are an Equal Opportunity Employer!
