nn SENIOR ACCOUNTANT nn nn Los Angeles nn nn n nn nn n nn nnOur client, a highly regarded, multi-strategy investment manager, is looking for a Senior Accountant in the Company’s corporate accounting division.nn nn n nn nnThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for general ledger reconciliation for all of the management entities, allocations of various P&L accounts, variance analyses, and will liaise with accounts payable team.nn nn n nn nn DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES nn Reconcile and report on key accounts for the corporate accounting department, including cash, accruals, receivables, and other asset accounts Assist in general accounting month and quarter-end entries and fluctuation analyses Perform P&L allocations amongst business units Review for correct general ledger account and cost center coding and compliance within company policy Enforce company policies and the approvals thereof data processing Perform periodic account analysis of general ledger accounts Investigate unusual transactions and maintain detailed schedules of high dollar or unusual transactions Implement process improvements and maintain policies and procedures nn n nn nn EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE nn Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years accounting experience Strong team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented Attention to detail and desire to have accurate, timely, and meaningful reporting Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced and changing environment Must be able to work independently as a part of a team Proficiency in Excel Experience in Microsoft 365 is a plus nn n nn nn BENEFITS nn Competitive insurance, flex spending program, and 401k benefits Reimbursement of professional society memberships and exam fees Up to $5,000 matching annually for contributions to qualified not-for-profit organization
