Senior Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting

This is a Full-time position in Los Angeles, CA posted July 16, 2021.

Successful, publicly traded food manufacturer located in Los Angeles is looking for a Senior Accountant.  In this position, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with month / quarter / year-end closes, preparing consolidated financial statements, balance sheet analysis, as well as accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) processes.  The Senior Accountant will also prepare journal entries, conduct general ledger and bank reconciliation, manage inventory and project costs, fixed assets, play a key role in various audits, assist with SEC reporting, as well as handle ad hoc projects.

     Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

CPA is preferred, but not required.

Must have experience working with a publicly traded company.  Consumer products, manufacturing, and/or food industry experience is a plus.  Ability to work with various personnel is essential.

ERP systems and strong Excel skills are important.
