nnThe Valuation & Business Analytics (VBA) Senior Associate works within a team environment to actively assist in providing commercial real estate analytical, valuation, consulting and other business advisory services to developers, REITs, investors, financial institutions, hospitality companies, lenders and Fortune 500 companies.
This position works on various stages of valuation engagements, including areas of specialized valuation for owner occupied and multi-tenant properties specific to financial reporting.nn nnQualificationsnn nnEducation:nn nn
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance, required
– Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance, preferrednn nnExperience:nn nn
– Three or more years of experience in valuation, corporate finance or accounting environment, requirednn nnLicense/Certifications:nn nn
– Real estate appraisal certification, preferred or being pursued; MAI candidate, preferrednn nnSoftware:nn nn
– Proficient in Argus Enterprise, Marshall Valuation Service, CoStar, Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required
– Advanced skills in Excel modeling, preferrednn nnOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:nn nn
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Superior analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex issues
– Capability of computer adaptability
– Ability to analyze and organize high volumes of data
