Education/Experience Requirements

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Applied Math, Computer Science, or other related fields.

Responsibilities & Duties
Work with existing financial models and systems to produce monthly or weekly profitability reports

Creating and optimizing SQL / SAS scripts to improve current process

Support other departments with data requests and ad hoc data pulls etc.

Technical documentation of reports and data projects

Collect, maintain, manage, interpret and analyze data received from internal and external data sources

Comply with regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act-Anti Money Laundering, OFAC, US Patriot Act, Privacy Act and Community Reinvestment Act

Job Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum 2 year experience in financial data analytics including: analysis of corporate financial statements, ad-hoc reporting, financial modeling, and data assessment.

Required: Good written and oral communication skills.

Required: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

Required: Ability to follow various work instructions with positive attitude.

Required: Ability to adopt changes, understand other’s priority, and accommodate.

Required: Previous experience working with team settings.

Required: Know when to apply own discretion in prioritizing various tasks and sensitive about sharing information.

Preferred: Experience with developing financial reports in the Banking or Finance industry.

Preferred: Strong analytical skill, consulting, oral, written, presentation and facilitation skills.
