Vaco is working on an interim Senior Property Accountant position with a large Real Estate company. This is a long term consulting engagement with the potential to develop into a permanent role. This role is 100% remote due to COVID.
Requirements for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years minimum accounting experience
- Real estate, property management, property development, construction, or related industry experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Great attention to detail
- Yardi or other large ERP system experience
Responsibilities:
- Month end closing accruals
- General ledger journal entries
- Account and intercompany reconciliations
- Common area maintenance (CAM) reconciliations
- Working with multiple property managers to resolve issues
- Assist with cash flow reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements
