Job Title: Private Equity Associate/Senior Associate
Job Summary:
We are working with a Los Angeles based PE firm looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as a Private Equity Associate/Senior Associate. They specialize in buyouts, structured debt, and special situations and are currently fundraising and investing out of three different fund strategies. The firm maintains a flexible investment strategy with significant dry powder and diverse exposure across its funds.
They are a 15 member invest team and foster a long-term, career-focused culture, emphasizing low turnover, professional growth, and a collaborative, lean team environment where all members contribute to decision-making.
Minimum Requirements: 3 years of finance experience and 1+ years of PE experience required!
Private Equity Associate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or related field preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
