QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with general accounting and benefits administration software
  • Comply with state and federal privacy laws
  • Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience

Job Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs the full process of Accounts Payable from receiving the invoice to sending payment
  • Audit and process credit card bills
  • Research, reconcile and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices.
  • Set up and maintain vendor files
  • Prepare 1099R and 1099M reports
  • Process, track, and reconcile Accounts Receivables for Off-Payroll members
  • Respond to vendor/member inquires
  • Sort and open daily mail delivery as needed
  • Support accounting department in various tasks related to active/retired member accounts
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and benefits department as needed
  • Process member refunds.
  • Perform collections, including preparing and sending collection letters and follow up on past due accounts with written notices and phone calls to as much as possible collect debt
  • Process daily cash receipts (checks).
  • Prepare daily deposits.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
