Work you’ll do * Perform military equipment valuations in accordance with SFFAS 6 by compiling and analyzing data from disparate systems and large, complex data sets * Prepare and present quarterly journal vouchers in accordance with US GAAP and the Treasury Financial Manual * Act as a trusted advisor and coach to the client in support of the financial statement audit The team Deloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor’s degree required. * An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this role. * At least three (3) years of internal audit and/or accounting controls experience. * Intermediate Excel skills (INDEXMATCH, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. * MUST BE LOCAL TO LOS ANGELES, CA. Preferred: * Experience with GAAP, GAGAS, FASAB, and SFFAS is desired.
* Understanding of DoD financial management policies, procedures, and systems such as GAFS-BQ, FM Suite, WAWF, CRIS, EDA, CCaR, and Advana is desired.
* Previous consulting experience is desired.
