Marketing Specialist – Content & Social Media

This position is currently remote.

The ideal candidate will be located in the greater Twin Cities area and will work out of their home office.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position has responsibility for executing content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, leads, awareness, and positive customer behavior.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Edit and create of a broad range of content across multiple mediums such as brand advertising, e-mails, welcome campaigns, offer-based advertising, public relations, social media, blogs, Google Ads, landing pages and more.

Assist in the execution of SICK’s social media strategy within the USA.

Activities include aligning activities to the annual marketing plan and being a corporate advocate within the digital environment across all social media platforms including, but not limited to, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and WordPress (SICK USA Blog).

Ensure content meets SICK’s global brand standards, insuring consistency in terms of messaging, style and quality throughout all print, digital and motion graphics design projects.

Assist the creation of messaging across various channels, 3rd party placements and key partner opportunities Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaign activities outside of direct content creation.

This may include, but is not limited to, virtual events, webinars, digital marketing activities, document design and more.

Assist and support trade shows by executing preshow awareness activities, executing on brand building activities and creating new content while at the event.

Build relationships and partner with members of SICK AG Central Marketing department to align to corporate visual design best practices.

Live and act by the culture defined as the “SICK WAY”.

Regular attendance and timeliness.

Carry out other duties as may be assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Journalism, or English.

Three to five years of experience.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.

Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with peers, customers, and vendors.

Understanding of marketing communications Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
