Loan Documentation Specialist – 1st Century Bank

The Loan Documentation Specialist will be accountable and responsible for preparing loan documentation for commercial loans in accordance with the Bank’s loan approval process. Ensure timely disposition and control of legal documentation, collateral and documentation records as well as that the documents requested comply with Bank’s policy.

Accountable and responsible for preparation of loan documentation for commercial loans in accordance with the loan approval process.
Prepare loan documentation for new commercial loans, renewals, and modifications ensuring compliance and safe and sound practices for various loan types including Commercial Real Estate, Commercial & Industrial, Lines of Credits, Term Loans, Construction Loans, and SBA Loans.
Support loan documentation and closing function while maintaining, expanding and building relationships, resulting in a high degree of client satisfaction.
Coordinate final preparation of loan documents and closing procedures with applicable parties.
Perform credit and public record information searches.

Position Requirements:

5-7 years of documentation experience in a financial institution;
Work related experience of loan servicing Commercial (including revolving/non-revolving lines of credit, term loans, construction loans, documentary/standby letters of credit, SBA/government loans), consumer and real estate loan documentation preparation.
High school diploma or equivalent;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
Experience with LaserPro Documentation preparation software is a plus;
