Investment Banking Associate – Gaming and Lodging | Los Angeles

nnThe consumer space is seeing a strong comeback in 2021 and related sectors such as gaming and leisure are quickly following suit
– we are working with a global upper middle market bank in Los Angeles on building out their broader consumer practice by bringing on experienced Associates to help close deals.

This is a coverage role but the team has a stronger focus on M&A so having multiple reps on your deal sheet will be beneficial for your consideration.

This is one of Southern California”s stronger shops and will be looking to grow their presence in the coming years so there is plenty of room for upward mobility.nn nn n nn nn Note
– you MUST already have the investment banking Associate title to be considered for this jobnn nn n nn nnComp: ~350k+ all innn nn n nn nn Role Description: nn To work on transactions including sell-side and M&A advisory for companies in the consumer, gaming, and leisure spaces.

To conduct research and analysis on the Bank”s clients and prospects as well as industry sub-sectors and contribute ideas for those clients and prospects To develop detailed industry materials for multiple industries Maintaining client relations during the deal execution period and building industry-specific or product-specific expertise Train and mentor Associates while working through the transaction life cycle nn n nn nn Candidate Qualifications: nn Must have at least 4 years of full-time investment banking experience (or an MBA + 1 year of experience)
– internships do not count Experience in the consumer space is not required Experience from a leading investment bank or advisory Excellent analytic, modeling, and technical skills Robust experience in Mergers & Acquisitions Strong client management and organizational skills Strong communication skills and a desire to take on additional projects Solid professional writing skills, particularly in preparing CIMs and relevant documents and announcements nnby Jobblenn
