Salary: $75,000 – $130,000 per year

Global Law firm is seeking a a Global Finance Paralegal in our Los Angeles office. This high-profile position entails providing paralegal support to the firm’s Finance group. You will work closely with our attorneys, clients and opposing counsel.

Job Details
As a Paralegal, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Interact with clients and counsel during business transactions
Assist attorneys with business leasing and loan transactions
Manage and coordinate transaction closings
Review and organize due diligence materials and client records
Manage, prepare and distribute post-closing sets and other materials
Prepare and review UCC filings and documentation
Draft and proof closing documents, materials and correspondence
Manage International Registry filings
Annually log a target 1500 billable hours
Skills & Competencies:
Able to learn quickly and apply training to practical issues
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written skills
Able to work under pressure on time sensitive projects
Able to work both independently and interdependently
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask multiple requests and competing deadlines
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to work overtime
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
ABA-approved paralegal certificate also preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial lending/asset-based financing and transactional work preferred
Familiarity with UCCs is a preferred
