GL Accountant

Accounting Principals has partnered with a local Commercial Property company in need of a General Ledger Accountant for a contract to hire opportunity.

This role will be located in Downtown Denver and starts as soon as possible.

The most qualified candidate will have extensive general ledger experience, have the tenacity to jump in and “hit the ground running,” and will hopefully have SOX experience.

Pay will go up to $70k for the perfect individual.

Responsibilities Preparing monthly schedules for corporate and partnership accounting Conducting account analyses and reconciliation of general ledger accounts Preparing variance analyses for period-to-period comparisons Maintaining the general ledger and assist with month end close Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes Supporting Managers with a variety of accounting and reporting tasks Interfacing with variety of other Finance and Accounting teams to assure work is completed timely and accurately Researching accounting issues and questions within the company’s accounts Participating in SOX 404 compliance process Qualifications Bachelor’s in Accounting 3 years of relevant experience Proficient with financial systems (advance with Excel) High attention to detail Thrives in fast paced environment Quality customer and client support Tenacity for teamwork and culture Pay: $52,000
