Forensic Accountant/ Risk Manager

Procor Solutions, a division of Brown & Brown Insurance seeks an experienced leader or a Forensic Accountant/ Risk Manager ready to take a leadership position in the claim preparation industry to join our team. We provide expert assistance in the quantification and measurement of damages, claims, and losses that to help our clients achieve a full and fast financial recovery and/or minimize losses resulting from catastrophic events, litigation, or disputes. Our clients cover nearly all industries and are located domestically and abroad.

The Forensic Accountant/ Risk Manager manages the entire Project Team consisting of teammates and independent consultants. The Project team is responsible for identifying, analyzing, quantifying and segregating loss costs for either vendor/subcontractor reimbursement, commercial insurance and/or governmental disaster aid. The Forensic Accountant/ Risk Manager manages the Project Team throughout an entire client engagement and is also the main contact to the client and, if applicable, the client’s insurance broker. This role also engages with the client’s insurance company and their claims adjusting resources. This position can work from our Los Angeles, CA office or remote from home.

Required Skills

  • 7-10 years of relevant professional project management/forensic accounting, consulting experience
  • Advanced Degree / CPA or CPA track / MBA / Finance / Risk Management preferred
  • Ability to develop new business projects from existing network and/or organically through provided company contacts and introductions
  • Ability to understand and map out client business processes to gain an understanding of entire value stream and areas impacted by a loss event.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking when analyzing large amounts of data
  • Ability to follow high level process requirements while managing variable project requirements
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to professionally resolve conflict between external parties
  • Strong work ethic
  • Effective communicator, solid organizational skills
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and to meet multiple deadlines
  • Willing to travel both domestically and internationally for client project work onsite
  • Must be willing to collaborate and work with multiple teams in various capacities
  • Must be willing to work for extended hours to meet required project deadlines
  • Highly Proficient with technology; Specifically, in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
