What you get to do every single day
– Review financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
– Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
– Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations
– Ad-hoc projects as required
– Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
– Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments
– Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
– Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
– Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reportingn n Job Requirements: n
– Ability to meet deadlines
– Ability to work well with functional department managers
– SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
– Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports
– Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
– Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
– Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
– ERP system experience
– Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
– Solid understanding of fund accounting
– Strong time management and organizational skills
