We are looking for an experienced Financial Copywriter to join our team!
The Copywriter’s responsibility is to produce high-quality written content for Jordan Belfort’s audience in the brand voice.
You will be working on various projects including, but not limited to: company pitch decks, equity contracts, intense financial research, and market trends.
You must be able to provide in-depth understanding of finance as well as any related topics.
The ideal candidate has a keen knowledge of, or a background in, finance and can express that knowledge in a conversational writing style that aligns with the brand voice.
This position is not for beginners
– you must submit samples of prior work you’ve written to be considered.
Duties and responsibilities
Must be able to adequately write company pitch decks, equity projects, and other materials relating to finance and other topics Research financial trends and topics relevant to the Jordan Belfort brand that is valuable to Jordan’s audience to be used in long form content Recommend visual/graphic support to support any written content
Requirements
Background in finance, content writing, and strategy Compelling storytelling ability Engaging headline writing Working understanding of SEO techniques Brainstorm creative ideas for written content
Skills and specifications
Demonstrated professional-level skills in consumer writing, reporting and translating complex information into easy-to-understand content Interest in, knowledge of, and an ongoing curiosity and passion for financial and crypto trends Experience covering the financial industry Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to accept direction and constructive criticism Ability to produce content quickly, calmly, accurately and proficiently under multiple deadlines Experience writing for website, newsletters, and other forms of media
Education and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related curriculum preferred Minimum of three (3) years of professional writing experience in a publishing environment Excellent grammar and impeccable spelling required
