Financial Controller (North America) NETSTOCK is a ten-year-old, cloud-based provider of inventory management applications to more than 1,800 customers globally.
Founded in South Africa, the company has expanded globally with employees across four continents.
The company recently closed a growth investment from Strattam Capital and is embarking on an exciting new phase of growth.
This includes aggressive expansion in North America with headquarters in the Boston area.
To support this growth, NETSTOCK is seeking to hire an experienced Controller.
This role will be responsible for the following primary outcomes: Accounting & Reporting: Lead the accounting operations of the company including maintaining an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the company’s reported financial results Lead implementation of Sage Intacct ERP and applicable processes to support adoption by users Ensure that the company’s accounting procedures and reported results conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Ensure that the company’s financial processes are compliant with federal, state and local tax regulations Manage the cash-flow of the company, monitoring liquidity needs of subsidiaries and leading relationships with local banks Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements, including detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts Manage the payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable processes Manage the annual audit and tax processes in collaboration with external firms Lead the coordination of accounting activities with Controllers of multiple international subsidiaries.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Support the CFO and executive leadership as a key contributor to the Company’s budgeting and forecasting process, monitoring actual vs.
budget on a monthly basis Support the CFO in preparing financial presentations Assist with maintenance of the Company’s capitalization table Manage stock-based compensation and equity accounting Who You Are: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with current CPA license desired.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in corporate or general accounting including recent as the Controller Three or more years of supervisory experience Public Accounting and US GAAP experience Privately held, VC-backed or PE-backed company experience Prior employment in the SaaS industry highly preferred Experience implementing/maintaining ERP systems (Intacct preferred) and developing new reporting and analytics capabilities Who We Are: NETSTOCK is the global leader in best-of-breed inventory replenishment and demand planning applications, integrating with a wide variety of ERP and supply chain management systems.
