We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Los Angeles based Finance and Accounting team. You will be assisting with our financial planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and other ad hoc analyses.. Responsibilities:
- Assist with annual budget process forecasts through the year
- Track actual performance against budget/forecast and analyze variances
- Create regular financial reporting, metrics and analysis
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to source key data and automate process of using this data in financial analyses and models
- Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and presenting ad hoc analyses
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards
- Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and presentations
- Assist accounting team to analyze P&L and cash flow forecasts
- Produce competitor and sector analyses as needed
- Assist with M&A activity and analysis as required
Requirements:
- Accounting/Finance bachelor’s degree
- Expert in Excel
- Strong skills in financial analysis and financial modeling
- Experience with working with high volume of data/data sets
- Digital Media experience preferred
- Self starter, curious, problem solving
- Excellent communication and people skills, ability to work across departments and with non-finance areas
