This is a key role to support attorneys with managing alternative fee arrangements by creating queries and reporting on activity, and monitoring matters expenditures day to day.
Responsibilities include creating models for future use while working with attorneys to respond to client budget requests; defining scope and developing task based forecasts to create alternate pricing proposals; providing relevant data to manage client expectations on legal spend and assist firm business development efforts; creating and publishing budget to reports, responding to ad hoc report requests, and updating departmental dashboards; defining a pricing framework for specific litigation phases; analyzing comparable matter data and correcting for anomalies; increasing the number of exemplars for future use; determining causes of data quality problems; and approving AFA related bills and audit responses.
