The selected candidate will focus on a variety of financial and non-financial tasks to ensure the companys revenues and expenses are accurately stated.
Our Brands Carmines Legendary Family Style restaurant offers an exceptional product to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine.
The menu features wow-factor sized portions making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.
Our locations span from NYC, Vegas, DC, AC to the Bahamas.
Virgils Real Barbecue has been acclaimed as one of Americas best BBQ restaurants by leading food critics and has continually been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox TV.
The menu was developed after extensive research in the back roads of the south and highlights the best of the best of BBQ from Memphis, Carolina, Kansas City, and Texas.
Virgils Real BBQ is located in NYC and Vegas.
Your Role with Us: Responsible for reconciling data from systems including Compeat Restaurant Management Software (Compeat), Aloha POS, 3rd Party Delivery Platforms and Trade Vendors.
Reconcile credit card processor payments with applicable totals in Compeat.
Auditing and entering invoices into Compeat and submitting weekly for payment.
Communicate daily with restaurant management.
Assist with processing and reconciling customer refunds.
Work with the accounting team to develop strategies to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of accounting policies and procedures.
Support year-end audit.
Support management with ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed.
Support all administrative functions of the Accounting and Finance Team.
Key Requirements and Preferred Skills: 2-3 years of relevant experience in related field, Hospitality experience highly desired.
Accounting experience in a restaurant or retail environment is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
High level of familiarity with Compeat software is a plus.
Excel Proficiency is required.
Deadline Oriented, meticulous and attention to detail.
Fluent in English.
