Director, Process Improvement – Finance & Operations (remote)

Director, Process Improvement Order-to-Cash This role will be responsible for leading and directing process improvement initiatives, including developing and designing processes relating to order to cash This role will collaborate closely with the Operations, Finance/Accounting, and System development teams to drive process improvement and efficiencies, and maintain an effective control environment Key Priorities: Workflow design (process, people and systems) à leadership role, subject matter expertise Identify areas in need of process improvement and lead any required remediation efforts Lead engagement with Technology team to help incorporate best practice processes into system design/requirements Project planning and management Change management Day-to-Day Responsibilities Partner with operations on order management, providing process design support and guidance on new customer order to cash work flows to ensure that customer orders are entered properly and completely with accurate rates. Work closely with operations, system development, and finance teams to ensure that the company’s internally developed production systems and processes are designed effectively to accurately track work orders to completion and to facilitate timely and accurate invoicing and revenue recognition. Identify areas of improvements for existing order to invoice workflows and lead implementation of changes to drive process improvement or address any identified process deficiencies. Collaborate with system development team to advise on and prioritize business requirements for order to invoice related technology solutions and enhancements to increase efficiency and ensure scalability Build and foster relationships with key stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives across the organization Requirements BA. or B.S. Degree in Business, Economics, Operations or similar discipline required Advanced degree preferred 10 years of process improvement experience driving organizational change across cross functional teams Demonstrated success in implementing ERP and other technology solutions Highly collaborative; aligns effectively with colleagues and business partners to deliver results while maximizing the success of all contributors Strong management experience Experience with proven results in use and deployment of Continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean) Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent understanding of processes and controls in and around the Order to Cash area (workflow design) Proven ability to manage to multiple deadlines and competing priorities Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment with ability to adapt to change Strong analytic, organizational and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to be decisive, make recommendations and influence outcomes Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills Customer service focused and solution oriented Self-directed, dynamic and customer-centric change-agent who thrives in a challenging and changing environment Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines
