Crane Resolution Operator – Freetown, MA

Crane Resolution Specialist will maintain maximum throughput and up time for the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS).

Specialist will monitor all crane operations from the warehouse floor by monitoring crane operations via computer screen to resolve pallet locations in error status.

Must have basic computer skills and be familiar with Excel worksheets.

Will drive 3-wheeled cart to location of crane issue.

Will investigate and resolve issues found in pick up and delivery by crane to stations.

May remove plastic or cardboard from pallet that could be causing crane issue.

Contact crane mechanics to resolve on-going issues.

Must work within the guidelines of safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Temperatures in warehouse can vary between 40-70 degrees.

Qualifications: Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution setting or knowledge of logistics is preferred but not required.

Experience operating powered warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts a plus.

Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

Mental reasoning capabilities and mature problem solving skills while managing multiple priorities.

Interact respectfully and courteously with employees, co-workers, management, customers and vendors.

Demonstrate safety consciousness and set tone for safe, productive, respectful work environment.

Demonstrate understanding of preventive measures to reduce freight and property damage.
