The successful candidate will assume the immediate challenges of financial reporting and budget oversight. The candidate will also partner with the President in enhancing processes and procedures needed to help maintain the steady growth of the business. SKILLS we are searching for • Cost Accounting • Financial Statement Preparation • Financial Analysis • Budget Control/ Management • Tax Accounting • Human Resources RESPONSIBILITIES • Monthly Financial Statements preparation/ Account reconciliation • Monthly reporting • Oversight of A/P & Job Costing • Oversight of A/R & Credit Management & Payroll • Cash Management (Bank Reconciliation, Cash Forecasting) • Human Resources • Partner with CFO on Annual Budget creation & management • Partner with CFO on Budget Control/ Cost Control/Margin Control • Inventory Control including quarterly/annual inventories • Sales tax, Property tax, Business tax, State & Federal Tax o Preparation of detailed supporting schedules and resulting journal entries o Work with tax accountants to provide supporting documents for year-end review • Bank loans, etc. o Prepare documentation and coordinate with external auditors o Manage covenants • Supervise and manage direct reports REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor•s degree in accounting or Finance with Accounting • Minimum of 3 to 5 years accounting experience including a minimum of 2+ years of cost accounting & inventory control preferred • Minimum of 2 years• experience in a manufacturing environment • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills • Demonstrated ability to link and analyze plant operational metrics to financial performance • Excellent communication skills • Understanding of modeling and data analysis. • Strong in Excel and/ or Access data extraction, manipulation and analysis • Good working knowledge of ERP systems and database management • CPA Certification, a plus AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
