Client Accounting Manager

Remote in CO, MO, CA, AZ, TX, FL, IL, PA, OR, NY, NJ only

Our Client Accounting Manager oversees and performs quality control analysis over the work of the bookkeeping team. This person ensures that monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows) are prepared and delivered to clients in a timely manner and conducts meetings with clients to review the accounting reports. Our Client Accounting Manager must be skilled at mathematical analysis, trend-spotting, written and verbal communication. Time management and attention to detail are critical to meet clients’ core expectations of accurate and timely financial reporting.

Comp: $65-75k (DOE) + bonus eligible!

Job Responsibilities:
-Provide clients with accurate financials in a timely manner.
-Assist clients with understanding/analyzing the financial information.
-Promote client success by helping with setting/achieving financial goals.
-Provide Ad hoc/Custom reports on request basis.
-Promote efficiency with internal bookkeeping process.
-Review/adjust financial reports as needed.
-Train the clients on internal processes/platform.

Knowledge Requirements:
-Understanding of the full accounting cycle. Must have +4 years accounting experience.
-Understanding of client’s needs/financial goals. Experience with restaurants is a plus
-Various filing requirements including sales tax, business license renewal, annual property tax filing, etc. – to ensure compliance.

Qualifications / Skills:
-Previous experience working in restaurants preferred
-Proficiency with software including QBO, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, etc.
-Experience with a CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus
-Ideally have experience using Slack
-Being able to stay organized and prioritize the workload to meet deadlines.
