JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for greeting all individuals as they enter the gym, enrolling new members, giving center tours, and providing excellent customer service at all times. This Job Description outlines the duties and responsibilities for the above position.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet each member and guest as they enter the gym
Enroll new members and handle guest sign-ups by assigning all necessary paperwork and collecting payment information
Answer inquiries about the gym via in-person, email, or phone
Responsible for tracking sign-ups for group exercise classes
Offer center tours and free trials to potential members
Assist with center marketing and other day-to-day operations of the gym
Floor supervision and equipment cleaning
Enforcement of rules and regulations (including mask-wearing and social distancing protocols)
Assist members with accessing Virtual Workouts (Elevation Live and Elevation Station)
Offer ideas for Wellness Initiatives (bulletin boards, newsletters, lunch n learns)
Collaborate with staff on ideas for Incentive Programming and Health Promotion
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Awareness of emergency protocols and implementation when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have current CPR/AED certification
Personal training experience preferred
Customer service experience preferred
