but our greatest investment is in you!The Quality Control Analyst maintain quality control standards and ongoing quality control objectives to assess and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of loan programs.

Prepares careful and detailed analysis of loan packages to determine if a potential borrower presents an appropriate level of risk and performs all necessary functions of due diligence to address any red flags effectively and efficiently.What you’ll do:Knowledge of Civic underwriting, quality control and compliance policies and procedures to make sound judgement on reviewed packages; high level of understanding of business products, process flows and financial statements; demonstrated knowledge of manual underwriting and data validationCoordinates objectives with Quality Control Manager and/or department managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs by determining root cause and corrective actionPerform thorough component, pre and post-closing quality control reviews on selected loan files referring to applicable state and federal laws and regulations and review of past, current and proposed operating guidelines and procedures.Performs basic to complex pre and/or post-closing review of mortgage documentation, loan origination system data fields to ensure accurate internal and external reports for effective accountabilityDocument audit findings that contain useful information in the right amount of detail and elicit an appropriate response, including timely corrective actionProvide updates, reports, analysis of trending results, audit summaries, along with monthly reports that revealed during a quality control review and distribute to the proper areas of managementResponsible for detecting fraud and reporting trends to help mitigate credit risk through the loan life cycleAssists the Quality Control Manager in developing and analyzing statistical data and maintain reports to identify trends, action plans and riskSelf-report in submitting an unusual activity report (UAR).Make recommendations and/or solutions to management in order to improve its programs and operationsAssist in designing, developing and implementing quality control training programsProficient in using QC tools including, background report, watchlist, criminal case websites, credit report, House Canary, property profiles and the internetEnsures a high level of unified communication to effectively support, engage and connect with Sales, Operations, management and other departments within the organizationCommunicate and strive to accomplish a specific goal.

Supports development of peers and self in training; identifies and resolvesproblems and/or Works parallel and holds responsibility of direct accomplishments of goals and/or assigned projects.
