About the Position As CFO, you will offer hands-on leadership directing the organization’s financial planning and accounting practices, as well as our relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community. You will play a critical role in stewarding our proud company by translating financial data and their underlying relevance into business strategy and operational plans. If this resonates with you, consider joining our team Essential Functions The CFO performs a variety of essential tasks, including, but not limited to: Serves on the Senior Management Committee and the Wage Review Board. Responsible for coordinating Corporate and ESOP investments and serves on the ESOP Administrative Committee. Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, insurance and credit & collection activities for the organization. Oversees and directs procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services. Directs the Treasurer in activities as custodian of funds, securities, and assets of the organization. Appraises the organization’s financial position; Oversees and directs the preparation and issuance of the corporation’s Annual Report and periodic financial and operational reports. Analyzes, consolidates, and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports. Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization’s policies and operations. Arranges for audits of company’s accounts and prepares reports required by regulatory agencies. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises the Accounting Department Supervisor/Manager and oversees supervision of the Accounting Department staff (2-3). Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required Ten years related experience required. Experience in a manufacturing enterprise ($10 million to $50 million) preferred. Experience in Corporate Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) company strongly preferred. Certified Public Account designation is a plus. Compensation And Benefits Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
