We are seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk for our Century City office near the newly remodeled Westfield Century City mall.

We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, well-organized, and process-driven person to join their team immediately.

As an Accounting Clerk and a valued member of the Accounting team, you will be providing crucial support by performing duties and tasks such as billing, sending invoices, initiating collection procedures, calling clients, and tracking receivables.

Your duties may include but are not limited to the following: Applying received payments daily to QuickBooks Online and updating invoice balances.?Updating Accounts Receivable excel log with all new and updated payments.Generating and updating invoices on new and current cases (including overtime billing).Assisting with the bank deposit process and daily check reconciliations.?Processing refunds and check returns on a bi-weekly basis.Reviewing closed files to check for outstanding balances or credits and taking the appropriate action to follow up on Past Dues or to issue refunds.Keeping track of and sending payment reminders daily to clients with outstanding balances.Calling clients on Past Due accounts to follow up on status of payment.Assisting clients over the phone and directing phone calls as needed.Taking credit card payments over the phone.Entering data and using online case management system, Outlook, and Excel regularly.Basic administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications: ?Bachelor?s degree (any major is welcomed) required and 2 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or AR/AP Specialist required.Experience with QuickBooks Online highly preferred.Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles.MS Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency a must, as well as knowledge of general professional office protocol.Must be proactive and have the ability to work both independently and in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision.Administrative skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Excellent listening skills, a highly professional demeanor, strong customer focus, impeccable organizational skills, is communicative to upper management, and thrives in a high-pressure environment.Discreet and professional demeanor; displays sensitivity toconfidential matters.Must have a helpful, ” No task is too big or too small” attitude.Must be highly detail-oriented, extremely organized, and process-driven to complete the above tasks successfully.
