ADP is hiring a Accounting AnalystThe Accounting Analyst position requires reporting, research, general ledger, banking, and systems knowledge.
The candidate will provide excellent service to internal and external partners and will possess strong verbal and written skills.
The candidate will make thorough assessments and provide recommendations and solutions.The Reporting Analyst will interact daily with business partners to obtain prompt resolution of issues.
The position will be accountable for assigned tasks and will provide analysis and trend reports.
The candidate will facilitate and present information at meetings and will require in-depth knowledge of the department’s reporting procedures, systems, and products.We strive for every interaction to be driven by our CORE values: Insightful Expertise, Integrity is Everything, Service Excellence, Inspiring Innovation, Each Person Counts, Results-Driven, Social Responsibility.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop queries on SAP BW, SAP SQVI, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and MS AccessGenerate production and ad hoc reports, analyze data, and trendsGather documentation on issues, determine root cause, and seek timely solutionsDevelop relationships with business partners to align to departmental goalsMaintain a strong level of knowledge regarding systems and areas of supportDocument user requirements and present to appropriate partiesIncorporate controls and policies to system modificationsRepresent business needs and collaborate with ITCoordinate implementation activities and gain consensus on systemic changesQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business, and/or Information Systems preferred or equivalent experience5 years of reporting and analysis experienceIntermediate to Advanced ExcelSQL, SAP BW/Hana, SAP SQVI experience a big plusPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:Expert knowledge of Excel required.Ensure monthly reporting is produced timely and accuratelyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently with limited supervisionStrong analytical skillsAbility to work under pressureExcellent interpersonal and organizational skills
