Position: Accounting ManagerLocation: Midtown, NYCSalary: $100k – $115k Stable NYC based Real Estate investment firm seeks an Accounting Manger to lead their Team Responsibilities:Oversee quarterly and annual investment performance reporting, consolidated financial statements and related footnote disclosures and schedules for commingled and separate account real estate portfolios and investment partnerships on US GAAP and fair value basis.Maintain general ledger, including monthly close, cashbook entries and income/expense accruals.Review monthly comparative budget variance reports for residential properties.Review quarterly work papers and balance sheet account analysis.Calculate and record quarterly unrealized debt and real estate value changes.Manage monthly management reports for selected funds.Oversee the reconcile calculation of monthly/quarterly client distributions, property management, asset management, and incentive fees per management agreements and portfolio income and appreciation returns.Responsible for interim and year end external audit process.Manage a staff of two Investment Accounting professionalsSpecial projects, as required.
Qualifications:5 years of accounting experienceAccounting degreeMust have previous management experiencePublic accounting experience a plusInvestment Fund Accounting desired
