A company is looking for a results-oriented Accounting Manager to join their growing team immediately. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Work with a Los Angeles, California based company that rewards your results-driven efforts. This is an short-term contract / temporary employment type. Your responsibilities in this role

Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies and procedures

Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines

Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlook

Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes

Job Requirements:
– Customer service oriented communication skills

– CPA/MBA preferred

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

– Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

– Solid technical skills

– Comprehensive knowledge of Yardi

– Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel

– Financial statements consolidation experience

– Proficiency in Consolidated Financial

– Command of month end closings

– Financial statement preparation experience preferred

– Well-founded grasp of Adjusting Journal Entries

– General familiarity with journal entries

– Strong problem-solving skills

– Recent relevant financial experience
