Job SummaryAccounting ManagerResponsibilities:Oversee the month end close and financial reporting for two domestic divisions including intercompany eliminations, fixed assets, cost accounting and financial analysisPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset schedulesOversee the month enclose and reconciliations for operational functions including: accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.Supervise accountants in the areas of: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.Evaluate cash management positions on a daily basisManage the yearly audit with external CPA firmPrepare quarterly and years budgets, forecasts and variance analysisSpecial projects as neededRequirementsBS degree in Accounting or Finance4-8 years of experience in public accounting and/or private industry in a manufacturing environment2 years in a supervisory capacity a plus but not requiredSolid understanding of GAAPWorking knowledge of inventory accounting and general understanding of cost accountingGood organizational and analytical skillsSolid understanding of Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting software (MAS 500, Dynamics or QAD)Job Type: Full-timeExperience:accounting: 4 years (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Location:Los Angeles, CA (Preferred)
