Mike Cox of Robert Half, Finance & Accounting is currently recruiting a newly created Accounting Manager to support a growing Professional Services company who are based in Los Angeles.
The Accounting Manager has been newly created to add value in some core areas of the accounting team and to support the Chief Executive Officer. They are ideally looking for someone who can assist in growing the business and will assist with some broad areas of responsibilities. The Accounting Manager will report to the CEO and will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the month end accounts, supporting the budgeting process will monthly forecasts.
You will ideally have experience of the at least 7years accounting experience working in Professional services as well leading a small accounting team
The CEO will assign the Accounting Manager special projects.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years experience in accounting/audit with their Bachelor’s Degree, and a CPA
Salary is around the $130,000 + Bonus and benefits.

Job Requirements:
– Budget forecasting experience preferred
– Comprehensive knowledge of month end closings
– Proficiency in general ledger
– Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
– Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
– 7+ years of recent relevant financial experience
– Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
– Strong problem solving and analytical skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
– Reliable technology and analytical abilities
