The Staff Accountant prepares, develops and reviews the accounting and financial information as well as provides a strong level of support to the accounting team.

Specializations accruals, monthly closing, balance sheet reconciliation, general accounting.

The Staff Accountant will assist with the monthly close process and with the preparation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information.You are the ideal candidate if you can: Prepare journal entries and accruals, both recurring and non-recurringMonthly reconciliation of general ledger accountsBank ReconciliationsPreparation of supporting documentation for financial statementsPreparation of monthly / quarterly reports for managementResearch and provide conclusions on technical accounting issuesPrepare other ad hoc reports as requiredAdditional duties as assigned.If you have this you could be a great fit: Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Business, Accounting, or related field2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)Intermediate proficiency level within MS Excel (V-lookups, formulas, filtering, sorting, formatting)Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Basic understanding of financial management applications such as PeopleSoftJob Type: Full-timePay: $28.00
