Entertainment based client that works with top recording artists is searching for an experienced Accountant to join their team. This Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely financial management through the design, installation and maintenance of accounting systems, policies, and procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for accounting operations, production of periodic financial reports, and maintenance of accounting records.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the financial records of the company in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare business reports, budgets, forecasts and statements
- Verifies and posts accounts receivable and accounts payable information
- Assist CEO and managers with budgeting and financial decisions
- Monitor company’s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs
- Assist with billing and tax documentation preparation
- Establish internal accounting controls and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills required
This is a full time in office position in Studio City.
Compensation $70,000
