Terrific Development Director position with a growing faith-based nonprofit organization focused on helping victims of domestic violence by providing access to care planning, education and support groups.
The organization is currently ramping up from a local nonprofit to one with a national reach.
The Development Director will collaborate with the Executive Director to design an overall fundraising strategy with a focus on major donors and grant funding opportunities.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, a track record of success with major donor development and grant funding, as well as exceptional writing skills.
Candidates should also have a deep understanding of the Christian faith and its values.
Salary commensurate with experience.
This position will be based in Acton, MA or remote in the Northeast region..
Responsibilities:.
Develop an annual fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Executive Director.
Broaden and diversify the organization’s base of major donors.
Manage the full grant lifecycle.
Create an annual fund development plan.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager on outreach and fundraising events.
Manage the donor database.
Qualifications:.
Bachelor’s degree or more extensive experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
Proven track record of success in major donor development and full lifecycle of grants
